Police arrest two men in Paphos for car arson case

A 42-year-old woman from a village in Paphos stole her neighbor’s car and was driving around under the influence of narcotics. She was quickly located and arrested after being found with cannabis in her possession and testing positive in a drug test.
Fact: Police made a third arrest in the case of a large quantity of narcotics discovered and seized in Larnaca.
A man named Shant Soghomonian was arrested for starting a fire outside Senator Bernie Sanders’ office in Burlington, Vermont. Security cameras recorded him spraying a liquid near the door and setting it alight before leaving the building. No one was injured, but there was damage to the door and surrounding areas.
A 31-year-old man in Paphos was arrested for forgery, circulation of a false document, theft, and obtaining money by false representation. He used a fuel refueling debit card from a car rental company on 80 occasions at four different petrol stations to refuel vehicles not belonging to the company. The man was identified as the one who made the unauthorized refueling using the card. The Paphos CID is currently investigating the case.

Iranian police have arrested a senior operative of Islamic State, along with two other members, for planning a suicide attack during Ramadan celebrations. The arrests were made in Karaj, west of Tehran, following clashes.
