Police in Paphos are searching for a minor in connection with a quad bike theft and traffic offences. A 14-year-old has already been identified and arrested for the same case.
A 29-year-old woman has been arrested by the police in Limassol for allegedly securing credit amounts from electronic credit card machines at three stores. The Germasogeia Police Station is handling the theft cases, with investigations revealing evidence against the suspect. She was located and arrested shortly before 9:30 PM yesterday and is currently in custody for further investigation.
The Police arrested a 16-year-old individual in connection to ongoing car theft investigations in the Famagusta district, bringing the total number of apprehensions to four. The arrest was made to aid in the investigations, which revealed the involvement of several individuals in car theft cases in Ayia Napa between May 25th and May 30th, 2024. Another case involving the 16-year-old and an 18-year-old in Larnaca is also under investigation. Arrest warrants were issued against the 18-year-old and the 16-year-old following evidence collected by the Larnaca Police Department. The suspects appeared before the Famagusta District Court and were ordered to be detained for four days. The investigations by the Ayia Napa Police Station and the Larnaca Police Department are ongoing.
Police cracked down on thefts and vandalism in Limassol and Famagusta districts. In Limassol, a 34-year-old man was arrested for handling stolen goods after being found with items stolen from two vehicles. In Famagusta, two teenagers and a 25-year-old man were arrested for possession of burglary tools and linked to a series of thefts from vehicles in Ayia Napa. Another 17-year-old is awaiting a court hearing for theft from a parked car in the same area.

Despite not having filed a complaint with the police, he is polling high in the MEP elections as an independent candidate.

Two suspects, aged 31 and 28, were arrested. In Larnaca, €840 was stolen from an unlocked car, leading to the arrest of a 19-year-old and a 17-year-old minor.
Three people arrested on suspicion of committing dozens of burglaries in Paphos will appear in criminal court on June 25. The burglaries occurred over three and a half years, resulting in the theft of goods worth a total of €865,000.
