Serial arson suspect rearrested in Nicosia

Fact: Two persons, aged 26 and 23, were arrested in Paphos for an investigated car arson case, along with a 19-year-old Paphos resident who was previously arrested for the same case.
A 40-year-old resident of Larnaca was arrested to assist with investigations into a suspected car arson case that occurred in the early hours of 25th March 2024 in Larnaca. The fire in the car was deliberately set and completely destroyed the vehicle.

A 40-year-old man was remanded into custody under suspicion of being involved in a suspected car arson. Police received testimony against him for allegedly being involved in setting a car on fire in an open lot on Friday night at 7pm. He appeared in court on Saturday and was remanded for eight days.
