A house belonging to a 73-year-old man was set on fire by a group of up to 70 youths in the village of Kiti, near Larnaca. A 16-year-old boy was hospitalized on Easter Sunday after a car crash in Paphos village of Peyia. The car, driven by a 15-year-old, collided with another car driven by a 47-year-old man. The 15-year-old’s car veered off course after the collision, hitting a road sign. The 16-year-old suffered blunt force trauma to his head but is not in immediate danger. The 47-year-old driver had a zero alcohol reading. The police investigation is ongoing.
Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar met with Gambian President Adama Barrow. Tatar asked for Barrow’s support regarding the Cyprus problem and the embargoes placed on Turkish Cypriots.
