The first weekend of June will feature various events in Nicosia, Larnaca, Limassol, and Paphos. In Nicosia, there will be a street food market at the Nicosia Municipal Gardens on Friday, the Cyprus Pride March on Saturday, and the 27th Cultural Festival of the University of Nicosia opening on Sunday.

The project to renovate the area of the old GSP stadium in Nicosia will be completed in the autumn. The project costs around €20 million and will add to the large pedestrian area on the southwestern side of the walled city, functioning as a “green lung”.
