Fire raging in Limassol, ’s Gerasa
A fire was raging in Limassol’s Gerasa area on Tuesday, with three fire fighting aircraft and four fire trucks deployed to the scene. The fire is affecting the Apsiou and Gerasa area. Another fire in Ayios Sylas’ area last week was attributed to an arson attack.
Yellow warning for high temperatures and red alert for forest fires

Twin fires raging in Nicosia

Ground and aerial forces are working to extinguish both fires, which are ongoing. In addition, the Fire Service is supporting firefighting efforts on the Anthoupoli – Palechori road in the area of Agia Koroni.
