The Police in Ammochostos are investigating a shooting incident at the residence of a 36-year-old in Frenaros. The perpetrator fired four shots from a firearm, hitting the front of the house and the glass balcony door. The Police are collecting evidence and seeking testimonies from surveillance systems to trace the movements of the perpetrator. The 36-year-old has no disputes with anyone and is cooperating with the investigation.
A 32-year-old’s vehicle in Limassol was intentionally set on fire outside the 4th Police Station at 20:45. The car was completely destroyed by the flames, and investigations are ongoing to determine if the arson was related to fan disputes or personal disagreements.

Seven infants died in four days from a bacterial infection at Trinidad’s Port of Spain General Hospital. The outbreak occurred in the neonatal intensive care unit and the children who died were premature babies. The bacteria found in the ward were Serratia marcescens, ESBL Klebsiella pneumoniae, and Klebsiella aerogenes. Despite administering high-dose antibiotics and intensive care support, some of the babies did not survive. The ward has been treated with chemicals to kill the bacteria, and there have been no new deaths since April 7th.
