Property, estimated to be the result of theft, was found in the possession of a 40-year-old man in Limassol, who was arrested on Wednesday night and placed in custody.
According to the Police, members of the Force conducted a search at the residence of the 40-year-old around 20:00 last night, under a judicial warrant.
During the search, ten wristwatches, four rings, and one engagement ring with a name and date inscription, one gold pound, three collectible coins, and seven other small coins, a bicycle, an electric bicycle, and other items were found.
During interrogation, the 40-year-old did not provide satisfactory explanations regarding the legality of possessing the items found, resulting in his arrest for the offense of illegal possession of property.
The suspect was placed in custody, while examinations are being conducted on the items found to determine if they constitute stolen property.
