For the seventh consecutive year, The Wall Gallery is enhancing the interior of the Bank of Cyprus Oncology Centre to improve the environment for patients and provide young Cypriot artists with an opportunity to display their work. The Wall Gallery has turned the treatment center into a permanent art space, aiming to raise cancer awareness and create a positive atmosphere for patients. The art displayed meets therapeutic environment standards as per a study by the Alternative Brains Rule (ABR) NGO, supported by the Bank of Cyprus. Featured artist Milenko Stevanonic’s work explores the interplay of light and darkness, using memory to combine personal observations into a unified composition that highlights nature’s diversity and principles. Stevanonic, a Serbian painter based in Cyprus, has studied painting, engraving, and design in Belgrade, Florence, and Tokyo. He is a member of the Association of Fine Artists of Serbia and the Visual Artists and Art Theorists Association – Phytorio, participating in international exhibitions and conferences. Previous exhibitions at The Wall Gallery have included works by photographers Silvio Augusto Rusmigo and Eugene Kitsios, and visual artists Constantinos Hadjidimitri, Alexia Tryfon, and Simoni Philippou. The gallery is located at the Bank of Cyprus Oncology Centre, 32 Acropolis Avenue, Strovolos, Nicosia 2006.
