Limassol Police investigating violent Easter riot
Police in Limassol are investigating a violent incident near the Agios Georgios church in Ypsonas. The event was described as an organized attack on officers by a group of about 100 young people who threw Molotov cocktails, firecrackers, and fireworks at police cars and officers. One police vehicle was set on fire, and three others were damaged. Investigations are ongoing to identify the perpetrators, and measures have been intensified to address youth delinquency in the area.
