Limassol celebrated its biggest annual party with a ten-day carnival, culminating in a large final parade. The parade featured 120 floats and involved an estimated 30,000 participants. It started at 1pm and concluded at 6pm. The carnival ended with a party at the old port, including a mask competition.

The big carnival parade in Limassol, Cyprus, features over 120 groups with more than 30,000 participants. It takes place along Makarios Avenue, ending at the Polekidia Traffic Lights (Fairways), starting at 1 pm. The parade includes various performers such as the Cyprus Drivers’ Corps cantors and cheerleaders, the Batukino Percussion Group, the Limassol Cheerleaders, and the Limassol Municipality Philharmonic Orchestra. The Queen of the parade is Christiana Charalambous, who has an impressive float and entourage. The Limassol Municipality honors citizens for their contributions to the carnival during the parade. The festivities conclude at 9.00 pm with an Outdoor Carnival Dance at the Old Port Square.
