A 30-year-old man was rescued on Wednesday after falling into an 80-meter ravine while riding his motorcycle in a rugged area southwest of the Agia Paraskevi picnic site in Limassol.
The man contacted police around 1:35 pm, reporting he was trapped and unable to move after the fall.
Officers from Kalo Chorio Police Station arrived at the scene and located the man. Due to the steep and deep ravine, firefighters were called in with specialized equipment to safely extricate him.
