Cypriot authorities seized a large quantity of weapons during a raid on Monday targeting an organised crime group, police sources said.
The operation was carried out by officers from the Drug Law Enforcement Unit of Police Headquarters in the Oroklini area, sources told philenews.
The raid followed a tip evaluated by law enforcement about the location of the weapons cache, which is believed to be linked to a criminal organisation based in Republic of Cyprus-controlled areas, they said.
