Russian woman sentenced to 27 years for bombing that killed war blogger

A young Russian woman named Darya Trepova was sentenced to 27 years in jail for delivering a bomb that killed a pro-war military blogger named Vladlen Tatarsky. Trepova was convicted of terrorism charges in connection with the incident. Tatarsky was killed when a bomb concealed inside a statuette, which Trepova had given to him as a gift, exploded during a talk he was giving in a St Petersburg cafe. Trepova claimed that she had been set up and believed the statuette contained a listening device, not a bomb.
