Around 300 children in mountain communities left without paediatrician
Residents in mountain communities are concerned about the lack of paediatric care at Troodos Hospital, as the only remaining paediatrician retired, leaving around 300 children without medical coverage. The residents have urged the State Health Services Organisation to take immediate action to fill the vacant position to ensure proper medical care for the children. SHSO has assured that they are working on replacing the retired paediatrician at the hospital.
