Paphos man wanted for burglary of church premises
– A woman was arrested in Paphos for possession of stolen property.
– Her husband is wanted for burglary and theft.
– A priest reported a break-in at Ayia Paraskevi church in Geroskippou, where €5,000 was stolen.
– The break-in occurred between 4.30pm and 6.30pm on February 2 or 3.
– The perpetrators entered through a wooden window using a sharp object to remove burglar bars.
– Evidence was collected from the scene, and a tip led to a suspect.
– Police searched the suspect’s residence and found €4,705, gold cufflinks, and two copper rings.
– The items found were taken as evidence.
– The suspect’s wife made allegations during questioning, which are under investigation.
