Ontario Minister of Finance Peter Bethlenfalvy tabled the province’s 2024 budget on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. The budget, titled “Building a Better Ontario,” includes investments in workers and key public services without raising taxes or fees. The province is investing in infrastructure to get more homes built faster and help keep costs down for families and businesses.
A new major television production titled “Love Rat” was filmed in Cyprus and is set to air on the UK’s Channel 5. The series will run for four consecutive nights and was approved by the Cyprus Film Commission. It aims to promote the tourist characteristics of Cyprus, particularly Ayia Napa and Protaras. During the production, 48 Cypriot professionals were employed. The series was ordered for Channel 5 by Sebastian Cardwell, Deputy Chief Content Officer, UK at Paramount, and stars Sally Lindsay, Neil Morrissey, Gerald Kyd, and Ramon Tikaram. Lindsay plays the main protagonist, Emma, a recent divorcée who travels to Cyprus.
