A new art exhibition titled “The Wanderer” by Anthoula Simadiakou is set to open in Nicosia at Ekate (Cyprus Chamber of Fine Arts) on May 17. The artist draws inspiration from diverse cultures and human encounters during her travels, capturing the human soul in her artworks. The exhibition features paintings created with different materials and techniques, aiming to convey vitality and explosive expression. Simadiakou’s goal is to invite viewers to embrace the beauty of diversity and feel the truths of the human soul.

Exhibition steps inside art therapist, ’s studio

Eleni Petridou Bouriti, a licensed art therapist, will host a solo art exhibition titled “Art Therapist’s Studio” from April 18 to April 26 at the Latsia Town Hall in Nicosia. The exhibition will feature paintings and sculptures inspired by her field of work in art therapy. It aims to offer a multisensory experience through guided tours and workshops focused on art, creativity, and mental wellbeing. Proceeds from art sales will be donated to support children and adolescents in the paediatric wing of Makarios Hospital.
