The Kimonos Arts Centre in Paphos is hosting a series of film screenings for summer nights at the Attikon open-air cinema. The program includes ten captivating films exploring the connection between power and madness, with nine international films and one Cypriot production. Tickets are available for 5 euros, and all films will have Greek and/or English subtitles.
Lidl Cyprus will host three special screenings over June 12-14, 2024, featuring films where food plays a central role. Attendees will enjoy a three-course meal before each movie, inspired by the film’s gastronomy. The screenings include ‘The Lunch Box’ on June 12, ‘The Hundred-Foot Journey’ on June 13, and ‘Ratatouille’ on June 14. The 5th edition of the Cyprus LGBTQIA+ Film Festival will take place from September 20 to 29 at NiMAC in Nicosia. The festival, organized by Queer Wave LTD, aims to bring together local and international communities through screenings and parallel events, providing a platform for LGBTQIA+ lived experiences and queer expression. Over the past four years, the festival has presented more than 170 Cypriot premieres of LGBTQIA+ films from the international scene, while also supporting local filmmakers and artists.
