Cypria fine art auction puts spotlight on iconic Cypriot and Greek artists

The event will showcase works by renowned artists like Christoforos Savva, Andreas Chrysohos, Yannis Gaitis, Pericles Pantazis, and Alecos Fasianos, providing a unique opportunity for art enthusiasts to explore and appreciate fine art.

Manifestations: views of the other world

A group exhibition titled “Manifestations: Views of the Otherworldly in Painting and Drawing” is scheduled to open in Nicosia at NiMAC from March 21 to July 13. The exhibition, curated by Dr. Elena Parpa and Dr. Evanthia Tselika, features 35 artists and explores themes related to the esoteric and mystical origins of painting and drawing, including the power of symbols and legends, and the interrelations with ritualistic processes and practices delving into the unconscious and dreams. It aims to explore divergent viewpoints regarding the human condition through time, with pieces from various collections including the State Collection of Cypriot Art, the AG Leventis Gallery, the Embassy of Greece, and the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation, as well as private collections. The exhibition also includes a series of parallel events and educational programmes.
