One person was rescued from a collapsed three-storey building in Kıutsuk Çekmeçe, Istanbul. Seven others were rescued earlier, two with serious injuries. A FedEx Airlines cargo plane landed at Istanbul Airport without its front landing gear deployed, following guidance from the control tower, but managed to stay on the runway. There were no casualties and the runway was temporarily closed after the incident.
