Prince Harry to celebrate Invictus Games anniversary in London

Prince Harry will celebrate the 10th Anniversary of his Invictus Games at a service in St Paul’s Cathedral in London on May 8th. The event he founded in 2017 is a multi-sport competition for military personnel wounded in action. Harry, who served as a military helicopter pilot in Afghanistan, will make a rare visit back to Britain for the occasion. The service will include readings by Harry and British actor Damian Lewis, with wounded veterans and members of the Invictus community in attendance. The event will mark a decade of changing lives and saving lives through sport. Harry has only returned to Britain a few times since leaving the royal family in 2020, attending major events such as the funeral of Queen Elizabeth and his father’s coronation. Charles, Harry’s father, will return to public duties after making good progress following cancer treatment and recuperation.
