No more Covid tests to visit hospitals
Starting from Tuesday, it is no longer required to present a negative Covid-19 test to visit hospitals and nursing homes in Cyprus, as announced by Health Minister Michael Damianos. The only remaining measure is the use of face masks in these facilities. Damianos mentioned that the number of Covid-19 cases is very low, with only a few hundred cases out of approximately 80,000 tests. Additionally, the number of Covid-19 cases in Intensive Care Units (ICUs) is minimal, leading to the decision not to extend existing measures.
