UNIC organises charity dinner for childhood cancer
The University of Nicosia is organizing a charity dinner called ‘Flavours of Life’ to raise funds for childhood cancer. The event will be held on March 12 at LOFT Restaurant and is planned by the School of Life and Health Sciences in collaboration with the Yale School of Public Health. The President of Cyprus is supporting the event, which aims to promote Cypriot culture and gastronomy while supporting worthy causes. All proceeds will be donated to the Karaiskakio Foundation’s Childhood Cancer Centre. The dinner will offer a culinary journey through Cyprus’s rich culinary heritage, featuring locally sourced ingredients and Cypriot spirits. The event will also provide nutrition and health information, emphasizing the benefits of the Mediterranean diet. The price per person is €65, and reservations can be made by emailing Maria Nassif or Marina Georgiou.
