Two rescued from sinking boat

At least 16 people, including four children, drowned when a rubber boat carrying migrants sank off Turkey’s northwest province of Canakkale. Four migrants were rescued and hospitalized. Search and rescue operations involved ten coastguard boats, 2 helicopters, marine police, Turkey’s Disaster Management Authority (AFAD), and National Medical Rescue Team (UMKE). The total number of migrants on the boat was unclear.
