Paphos: Contamination center listed building – Residents protest

According to the residents, there is a lot of dirt in the area and in some cases homeless people find shelter there

Residents of Athenas Street, in Paphos, strongly complain about the situation prevailing in the area due to a preserved building that exists there.

Specifically, as they report, after the cancellation of the restoration process of the preserved building of the Department of Social Insurance, there is a lot of dirt in the area, and in some cases homeless people find shelter there.

The residents have an urgent need for its maintenance since, as they say, the building is in a state of disrepair, it is a danger and a source of contamination.

It is noted that the former Minister of Labor and Social Insurance, the late Zeta Emilianidou, had agreed with the Municipality of Paphos on the planning and execution of the project. However, the project was canceled due to high costs.
