According to information from CNA, the agenda of the meetings will include the Cyprus-Israel electricity interconnection and cooperation between the two countries on hydrocarbon issues.
The Cypriot Minister is accompanied, among others, by the Directors of Energy and Hydrocarbons, Charalambos Rousos and Stelios Nicolaides respectively.
Technocrats from the relevant services of the neighbouring country will also attend the meeting, such as the head of the Electricity Authority, Amir Sabit.
According to the same information, a joint statement is expected to be issued following the conclusion of the meetings.
