A 28-year-old Indian motorcyclist died on Monday in a collision with a truck in Larnaca, police said.
The accident occurred on Nikos Belogiannis Avenue in Pervolia when a truck driven by a 34-year-old man attempted a right turn and collided with the motorcycle.
According to eyewitnesses, the motorcycle was stationary at a red light on Antistaseos Street.
The motorcyclist, who was married to a local Greek Cypriot and lived in the area, sustained fatal injuries and died at Larnaca General Hospital.
Police said initial breathalyser and drug tests on the truck driver were negative.
