The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus has welcomed its collaboration with the US and the UK to increase the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
In a statement on social media on Wednesday evening, the Ministry said: “Proud to work with the US and the UK, key Amalthea partners in scaling up the flow of humanitarian aid, in line with 2720 UN Mechanism.”
This aid is being sent to Gaza via the first mission to the JLOTS pier off the coast of Gaza.
The Ministry noted that this is “An apt example of shared service facilitated by the Cyprus maritime corridor aiming to provide additional aid.”
