The new official residence being constructed for Ersin Tatar is a \u201csymbol of the strength of the TRNC\u2019s democracy\u201d<\/strong>, Turkish Ambassador in Nicosia Metin Feyzioglu said on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Speaking during a tour of the under-construction complex, located in Ayios Dhometios, he said Turkish Cypriots will \u201cbe much more closely linked\u201d with their leader once the building is complete.
\nThe complex is located across 400,000 square metres of land, and as well as an official residence for Turkish Cypriot leaders will also include a new building for the north\u2019s \u2018parliament\u2019, which is currently located in the former Dianellos cigarette factory in northern Nicosia\u2019s Koskluciftlik neighbourhood<\/strong>.
\nErsin Tatar himself also took a tour of the complex, saying that the project will send \u201ca great message to the world un terms of the Turkish Cypriots\u2019 will, independence, and ability to govern themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
