The halloumi being used by the chain comes directly from Cyprus.<br \/>\nAccording to the Daily Mail, the yiayias from London\u2019s Greek Cypriot Society were invited to a taste test and issued their seal of approval for flavour and authenticity.<br \/>\n\u201cWe loved tasting Burger King\u2019s Halloumi Fries this week,\u201d members of East London\u2019s Hellenic Cypriot Society Bambi Steel and Helen Zannicos said.<br \/>\n\u201cThey are the perfect balance of cheesy and salty, and <strong>the fact they\u2019re made with quality ingredients sourced from Cyprus makes them taste even better<\/strong>.
