Thousands of people took to the streets of Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Be\u2019er\u00a0Sheva,\u00a0Caesarea, Haifa, and other Israeli cities on Saturday night (20\/4), demanding the dismissal of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and an agreement for the release of the hostages held by Hamas.
\nIn \u201cDemocracy Square\u201d in Tel Aviv, the protesters united against the government, demanded early elections, and did not forget the remaining hostages who continue to live a nightmare at the hands of the Islamist group\u2019s militants.
\nNetanyahu is fighting for his political survival.
\nMany of the participants carried Israeli flags and placards reading \u201cOccupation and democracy cannot coexist\u201d and \u201cBring them back at all costs.\u201d Others chanted \u201celections now\u201d and \u201cdown with the government.\u201d
\nIn Jerusalem, people gathered outside Netanyahu\u2019s residence, asking him to resign, while the same happened in Caesarea, where the Israeli Prime Minister also has a house.
