{"id":7684,"date":"2024-04-10T23:00:20","date_gmt":"2024-04-10T20:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ch.jfdi.cc\/?p=7684"},"modified":"2024-04-10T23:00:20","modified_gmt":"2024-04-10T20:00:20","slug":"bangladesh-honourary-consulate-terribly-sad-that-someone-died-this-way","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ch.jfdi.cc\/?p=7684","title":{"rendered":"Bangladesh Honourary Consulate: , \u2018terribly sad that someone died this way\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ch.jfdi.cc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/bangladesh-honourary-consulate-terribly-sad-that-someone-died-this-way.jpg\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\"><\/div>\n<p>The Honourary Consulate of Bangladesh in Cyprus on Wednesday described the death of 23-year-old Bangladeshi national <strong>\u201ctragic\u201d after he fell to his death<\/strong> from his apartment balcony.<\/p>\n<div class=\"cypru-video-ads\" id=\"cypru-1888035342\">\n<div id=\"cypru-1525996728\" data-cypru-trackid=\"478051\" data-cypru-trackbid=\"1\" class=\"cypru-target\">\n<div id=\"gpt-ad-4877575290534-0\">\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Police knocked on the apartment door at 6:20am to check whether the tenants were living in Cyprus legally.<br \/>\nUnder circumstances that are still being investigated, the man fell from the apartment on the fifth-floor and died.<br \/>\n\u201cThis is a tragedy, especially on this day of Eid,\u201d Honourary Consul of Bangladesh Roupen Paul Kalaydjian told the Cyprus Mail.<br \/>\n\u201cIt is <strong>sad that police chose this festive day of Eid<\/strong> to do this raid, which had these tragic consequences.\u201d<br \/>\nAnother Bangladeshi national aged 22, also jumped out of the balcony and is currently in Limassol general hospital in serious condition for his injuries.<br \/>\nIn total, 11 people from Bangladesh were crammed into a two-bedroom apartment. They were found to be illegal migrants and were reportedly paying \u20ac2,000 in rent. Police have <strong>called on the landlord to present himself <\/strong>to a station with the rental contract.<br \/>\n\u201cUpon hearing of the incident, we contacted police headquarters in Limassol immediately. We are waiting for the police report investigation over the incident,\u201d Kalaydjian said.<br \/>\nThe Honourary Consul added he is also trying to gather more information from members of the
