The Paphos Regional Tourism Development and Promotion Company has recently completed a relevant survey which concluded that throughout the entire Paphos province, there are approximately 20,000 beds in 6,000 self-catering accommodations.
\nThe most striking finding of the study, however, is that accommodation spaces are being rented out even in a decommissioned bus.
\nSpecifically revealed by the Paphos Tourism Organisation (PTO), on a particular platform, beds in a decommissioned bus are available for short-term rental in a Paphos area.
\nAs demonstrated by the survey, these 20,000 beds are distributed evenly, with 50% in apartments and 50% in houses or villas.
\nAccording to the PTO\u2019s announcement, the Municipality of Paphos has the most beds, specifically 4,000, the Peyia Municipality has around 3,600 beds, Kouklia has 1,300 beds, the City Municipality has 800 beds, Neo Chorio has 750, Chloraka 700, Kissonerga 400 beds, Argaka another 400, and Geroskipou only 150 beds. The remaining beds are scattered across various communities.
\nAccording to the PTO, approximately 15,000 beds have already been registered on the official platform of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, while another 5,000 have not been registered but are available through various promotion platforms and channels.
