Even more impressive, he added, were areas along the <strong>coast<\/strong>, which were completely packed, with <strong>occupancy rates hitting 100 per cent.<\/strong><br \/>\nIn statements made to the Cyprus News Agency (CAN), Thrasyvoulou conveyed his hope that the subsequent three days would similarly provide a \u201cfinancial injection\u201d and much-needed relief to business owners in the hospitality sector.<br \/>\nHe explained that leisure centres \u201chad their due,\u201d with all coastal catering centres, stretching from Pyrgos Tillyria to Ayia Napa, being fully booked.<br \/>\nThis, he noted, represented<strong> a significant \u201cfinancial boost\u201d from local customers,<\/strong> which had been eagerly anticipated until the onset of the tourist season.<br area of Famagusta are witnessing unsatisfactory tourist traffic from abroad.<br \/>\nExpressing cautious optimism, Thrasyvoulou hopes that the forthcoming days will emulate the success of the leisure centres\u2019 visitation, <strong>enabling businesses to \u201ctake a breather.\u201d<\/strong><br \/>\nHe highlighted the special focus on fish taverns on March 25, which took the opportunity to showcase fresh fish, marking their unique contribution to the festive atmosphere.<br \/>\nAddressing the future with a lens of careful optimism, Thrasyvoulou shared his hopes for the forthcoming tourist season, aiming to follow the previous year\u2019s achievements.<br \/>\nHe pointed out the importance of <strong>working together with the Deputy Ministry of Tourism<\/strong> as a key element in this endeavour.<br \/>\n\u201cWe have stated our positions and opinions,\u201d he said, noting that, \u201cwe must slowly build and create additional prospects, with <strong>new flights from new destinations<\/strong>\u201c.<br \/>\n\u201cThis strategy will allow individuals, equipped with the latest information, to select their preferred travel destinations with greater freedom,\u201d he
