{"id":5183,"date":"2024-03-22T19:00:50","date_gmt":"2024-03-22T17:00:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ch.jfdi.cc\/?p=5183"},"modified":"2024-03-22T19:00:50","modified_gmt":"2024-03-22T17:00:50","slug":"president-helps-cbc-to-promote-financial-literacy-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ch.jfdi.cc\/?p=5183","title":{"rendered":"President helps CBC to promote financial literacy [video]"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ch.jfdi.cc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/president-helps-cbc-to-promote-financial-literacy-video.jpg\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\"><\/div>\n<p>In line with the annual global awareness campaign, <strong>Global Money Week 2024<\/strong>, coordinated by the <strong>Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC), <\/strong>the CBC has taken the initiative to create<strong> educational videos<\/strong> aimed at raising awareness and promoting financial literacy, especially among the youth.<\/p>\n<div class=\"cypru-video-ads\" id=\"cypru-598798602\">\n<div id=\"cypru-920986288\" data-cypru-trackid=\"478051\" data-cypru-trackbid=\"1\" class=\"cypru-target\">\n<div id=\"gpt-ad-2491253785609-0\">\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>According to an announcement released by the CBC on Friday, these videos were prepared with the contribution of<strong> President Nikos Christodoulides<\/strong>, and the <strong>Governor of the Central Bank of Cyprus Constantinos Herodotou<\/strong>.<br \/>\n\u201cThrough these videos, the enthusiastic support of both institutions is expressed for the important work of enhancing financial literacy in Cyprus, emphasising the necessity for continuous education and public awareness on financial matters,\u201d the CBC said.<br \/>\nThe videos were designed based on this year\u2019s Global Money Week theme for 2024, <strong>\u201cProtect Your Money, Secure Your Future,<\/strong>\u201d which focuses on the need for people to manage their money safely and highlights the importance of adopting a responsible and informed approach.<br \/>\nIn the first video, available below, the President of the Republic of Cyprus addresses the reasons for r<strong>ising product prices and the measures taken to curb inflation<\/strong>.<br \/>\nHe also calls on people to understand basic financial concepts in order to make better decisions for themselves and their families.<br \/>\n[embedded content]<br \/>\nAll videos will be published on the CBC website, the CBC YouTube channel, and the CBC page on LinkedIn.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC) has created educational videos as part of the Global Money Week 2024 campaign to promote financial literacy, especially among the youth.
