{"id":4181,"date":"2024-03-14T18:02:55","date_gmt":"2024-03-14T16:02:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ch.jfdi.cc\/?p=4181"},"modified":"2024-03-14T18:02:55","modified_gmt":"2024-03-14T16:02:55","slug":"woman-claims-viral-video-of-monk-assault-is-fake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ch.jfdi.cc\/?p=4181","title":{"rendered":"Woman claims viral video of monk assault is fake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A woman featured in a viral video that appears to show her being beaten by a monk with a belt has claimed that the footage is fake.<br \/>\nElena Roussou took to Facebook to express her \u201cdeep sadness\u201d that people had been forced to see the video, which she says shows her being \u201cbrutally beaten\u201d by a monk at the Monastery of Saint Habakkuk.<br \/>\nRoussou claims that the video is \u201cdoctored\u201d and that the argument between her and the monk was due to a \u201cmisunderstanding for which I was to blame.\u201d<br \/>\nShe says that she did not suffer any injuries as a result of the incident and that she has no complaints against the monk.<br \/>\n\u201cOur misunderstanding was resolved and since the next day our relations have been as good as before,\u201d she wrote. \u201cThese things happen even in the best of families! I have also stated this to the police.\u201d<br \/>\nIn a second post, Roussou denied claims that she had been abducted or coerced.<br \/>\n\u201cI had plenty of opportunities if I wanted to \u2018escape\u2019,\u201d she wrote. \u201cSo the talk of abduction, extortion or bribery is completely untrue and targeted.
