Only two other leaders secure a positive opinion, AKEL General Secretary Stephanos Stephanou and Greens President Yiorgos Perdikis.\u00a066% of respondents think positively of the House Speaker and DISY leader, a drop of six points in comparison with a previous poll in mid 2023. Dimitriou is popular throughout the political spectrum, with the exception o ELAM, securing a 2% higher support by those who voted for Nicos Christodoulides in comparison to Averof Neophytou.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><\/figure>\n<p>Yiorgos Perdikis, who only recently returned to the leadership of the Greens, continues where he left off when he passed on the baton to Charalambos Theopemptou, with an acceptance level of 47% and 42% negative opinions. He is also well liked across different political groupings, with the exception of centre wing DIKO.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><\/figure>\n<p>AKEL General Secretary Stephanos Stephanou went up in popularity following last year\u2019s Presidential elections, with a 45% borderline positive opinion across the board, mostly raised by popularity in his own party AKEL and centre wing DIKO. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><\/figure>\n<p>The acceptance levels of government coalition Democratic Party President Nicholas Papadopoulos, remain unchanged, with 42% posiive opinions and 50% negative.
