{"id":3487,"date":"2024-03-04T11:26:20","date_gmt":"2024-03-04T09:26:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ch.jfdi.cc\/?p=3487"},"modified":"2024-03-04T11:26:20","modified_gmt":"2024-03-04T09:26:20","slug":"nicosia-municipality-identifies-hazardous-buildings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ch.jfdi.cc\/?p=3487","title":{"rendered":"Nicosia municipality identifies hazardous buildings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Municipality of Nicosia has declared a series of buildings as dangerous, as it regularly conducts inspections on constructions, especially in areas of special character, maintaining a registry of dangerous buildings, as well as following complaints from citizens.<br \/>\nAccording to an announcement by the Municipality of Nicosia, constructions that present issues are examined by trained engineers\/technicians, who assess whether there is indeed a danger that could cause harm to residents, passersby, or even illegally entering individuals. Then, the constructions are declared \u201cdangerous\u201d according to Cypriot legislation.<br \/>\nAfter inspection, the Municipality informs the concerned owners that, exercising the powers provided to it by the Road and Building Regulation Law, Article 15B, it has declared the following constructions as dangerous:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prousis &amp; Theonos Street corner 14, St. John\u2019s parish, Reg.\/Plan: 21\/460608, Plot A, Block 332<\/li>\n<li>Patroklou Kokkinou Street 1, Panagia parish, Reg.\/Plan: 21\/47W01, Plot 5, Block 1832<\/li>\n<li>Parthenon Street 4, St. Andrew\u2019s parish, Reg.\/Plan: 21\/460402, Plot 30, Block 214<\/li>\n<li>Nikokleous Street 15-17, Faneromenis parish, Reg.\/Plan: 21\/460504, Plot B, Block 153<\/li>\n<li>Mycenae Street 5, Trypiotis parish, Reg.\/Plan: 21\/540202, Plot 25, Block 857<\/li>\n<li>Macedonia Street 2, Constantine &amp; Helen parish, Reg.\/Plan: 21\/550103, Plot D, Block 115<\/li>\n<li>Lefkonos Street 26, Faneromenis parish, Reg.\/Plan: 21\/460601, Plot B, Block 21<\/li>\n<li>Kanari Street 25, Agioi Omologites parish, Reg.\/Plan: 21\/540104, Plot A, Block 147<\/li>\n<li>Delos Street 4, Agioi Omologites parish, Reg.\/Plan: 21\/540501, Plot B, Block 481<\/li>\n<li>Voulgaroktonou Street 7, Nebet Chami parish, Reg.\/Plan: 21\/460504, Plot 1, Block 177<\/li>\n<li>Vasileos Konstantinou Street 7, St. Andrew\u2019s parish, Reg.\/Plan: 21\/460103, Plot 2, Block 251<\/li>\n<li>Achaion Street 15, St. Andrew\u2019s parish, Reg.\/Plan: 21\/460403, Plot 4, Block 147<\/li>\n<li>Athos Street 12, Agioi Omologites parish, Reg.\/Plan: 21\/540502, Plot C, Block 1083<\/li>\n<li>Agioi Omologites Street 16, Agioi Omologites parish, Reg.\/Plan: 21\/540104, Plot 1, Block 92.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Municipality of Nicosia calls on the owners of the above-mentioned constructions to immediately contact the Municipality\u2019s Technical Service at the telephone numbers 22797484, -554, and take all necessary measures to remove the danger.<br \/>\nOtherwise, the Municipality may enter the construction on its own initiative, taking all measures to eliminate the risk, and\/or impose an administrative fine of up to \u20ac20,000, and\/or initiate a criminal case.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Municipality of Nicosia has declared a series of buildings as dangerous after inspections by trained engineers\/technicians.
