<\/b> Dialogue completed<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n
It is recalled that last October, the President of the Republic announced the dialogue between the Ministry of Education and the bodies involved in the field of special education, with the aim of making a transition towards uniform education. What the Ministry of Education seeks before September, but also before the summer, is to complete all the procedures that are being done, so that the long-awaited first step towards the great reform in the field of special education can be made. Regarding the provision of differentiated material to special education children who are in general classes, it is a request of the parents of children with disabilities, for which there was also a placement of the Commissioner for the Protection of Children's Rights and despite the instructions given by the ministry, there were cases that were not followed, resulting in the exclusion of children. The Ministry of Education has reached an agreement with Greece to evaluate its own material, while material is also being prepared from Cyprus, so that teachers in primary and secondary education will be able to help children who need this material. What is clear is that the special software used by some children is a differentiated material and it has been decided to give a special emphasis in order to modernize it.<\/p>\n
