The news published by "P" yesterday was confirmed by the Minister of the Interior Konstantinos Ioannou, saying that the Iranian applied for an immigration (permanent residence) permit in 2016<\/p>\n

The Iranian national whose permanent residence permit was revoked was in Cyprus with his wife and children, since he seems to be involved in cases of illegal exploitation and sale of Greek Cypriot land in the occupied territories.
The news published yesterday by "P" was confirmed by the Minister of the Interior Konstantinos Ioannou. Speaking to "P", the interior minister said that the Iranian applied for an immigration (permanent residence) permit in 2016, based on Regulation 6.2, which provides for the permanent residence in Cyprus of third-country nationals.
