The estimates for a possible reduction in interest rates in the next period are ominous, with the finance minister referring to the European Central Bank which, on the one hand, declares that we are still far from the period of interest rate reductions and, on the other hand, warns of a new recession. In an exclusive interview with the "Politis" newspaper, Makis Keravnos expressed the position that the EU is very marginally in an economic recession and codified the state of the Cypriot economy giving the stamp of his approach in relation to the management of the issues facing Cyprus .
