\nAgiomamitis accuses relevant bodies, including the police and veterinary services, of failing to intervene despite repeated complaints. The initial report, filed several months ago, addressed concerns about the cats\u2019 captivity and the owner\u2019s refusal to spay them.
\nThe report details the poor conditions the cats endure, including exposure to harsh weather. During heavy rain, the cages flooded, forcing the cats to climb the bars to avoid drowning. A volunteer rescued them, but the owner reportedly recaptured them later.
\nP.A.W.S is requesting the Attorney General prosecute the individual for animal cruelty, citing the deaths of kittens and the ongoing confinement in violation of animal welfare laws.
\nStrovolos Municipality has already filed charges against the owner for constructing illegal structures to house the cats. The next court hearing is scheduled for May 24.
