{"id":10548,"date":"2024-05-03T13:00:47","date_gmt":"2024-05-03T10:00:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ch.jfdi.cc\/?p=10548"},"modified":"2024-05-03T13:00:47","modified_gmt":"2024-05-03T10:00:47","slug":"rif-launches-research-support-programmes-worth-e14-5-million","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ch.jfdi.cc\/?p=10548","title":{"rendered":"RIF launches research support programmes worth , \u20ac14.5 million"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ch.jfdi.cc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/rif-launches-research-support-programmes-worth-e14-5-million.jpg\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\"><\/div>\n<p>The <strong>Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) this week announced the launch of two new programmes,<\/strong> titled Excellence and Post-Doc respectively, with a<strong> total budget of \u20ac14.5 million.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"cypru-video-ads\" id=\"cypru-1552678670\">\n<div id=\"cypru-260439319\" data-cypru-trackid=\"478051\" data-cypru-trackbid=\"1\" class=\"cypru-target\">\n<div id=\"gpt-ad-9211449242704-0\">\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>According to the announcement, the aim of these programmes is to foster scientific excellence by strengthening the production of new knowledge and giving young researchers the opportunity to lead research projects.<br \/>\nThe beneficiaries of these programmes include research organisations, enterprises, and other private and public sector bodies.<br \/>\nThe first call is part of the Excellence programme, which has a total budget of <strong>\u20ac12 million<\/strong> and covers the following scientific areas: life sciences (\u20ac5m), physical sciences and engineering (\u20ac5m), and social sciences and humanities (\u20ac2m).<br \/>\nThe<strong> maximum funding per project is \u20ac200,000<\/strong> for the life sciences, physical sciences and engineering themes, and<strong> \u20ac120,000<\/strong> for social sciences and humanities.<br \/>\nFurthermore, to foster collaborations between publicly and privately funded organisations, the maximum funding per project is increased by 25 per cent in the case of collaboration between the two.<br \/>\nThe primary objective of the programme is to promote scientific excellence by funding innovative research projects in cutting-edge areas that can contribute both to strengthening the country\u2019s economic and sustainable development and to addressing current challenges.<br \/>\nTherefore, interested parties can find more information at the following link. Proposals can be submitted via the IRIS portal, and the deadline for submissions is July 5, 2024.<br \/>\nThe second call falls under the Post-Doc programme, which has <strong>a budget of \u20ac2.5 million<\/strong>. This programme will fund projects in the scientific areas of life sciences (\u20ac1m), physical sciences and engineering (\u20ac1m), and social sciences and humanities (\u20ac500,000). The maximum funding per project is \u20ac150,000 for the first two scientific areas and \u20ac120,000 for the third thematic area.<br \/>\nMoreover, the aim of the programme is to support post-doctoral researchers in research organisations and enterprises, enabling them to carry out highly specialised projects and develop new scientific activities.<br \/>\nThe call seeks to contribute to increasing the number of researchers working on innovative projects in key areas while ensuring their sustainable funding.<br \/>\nThus, interested parties can find more information at the following link.
