{"id":10228,"date":"2024-04-30T20:00:42","date_gmt":"2024-04-30T17:00:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ch.jfdi.cc\/?p=10228"},"modified":"2024-04-30T20:00:42","modified_gmt":"2024-04-30T17:00:42","slug":"encouraging-outcomes-discussed-in-eni-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ch.jfdi.cc\/?p=10228","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Encouraging outcomes\u2019 discussed in ENI meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ch.jfdi.cc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/encouraging-outcomes-discussed-in-eni-meeting.jpg\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\"><\/div>\n<p>President Nikos Christodoulides met with Eni CEO Claudio Descalzi in Nicosia on Tuesday, where they discussed prospects over gas findings.<\/p>\n<div class=\"cypru-video-ads\" id=\"cypru-205833116\">\n<div id=\"cypru-695151390\" data-cypru-trackid=\"478051\" data-cypru-trackbid=\"1\" class=\"cypru-target\">\n<div id=\"gpt-ad-3935097136441-0\">\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>According to government spokesman Konstantinos Letymbiotis, the two reviewed the discoveries made in 2022 by Eni and its partner TotalEnergies of Cronos and Zeus, which led to the drilling of the Cronos 2 appraisal well in late 2023.<br \/>\nA production test in early 2024 \u201c<strong>delivered excellent performances<\/strong> and increased volumes,\u201d Letymbiotis said.<br \/>\nWhile the acquired data is still under study, the encouraging outcomes of the previous wells have been confirmed, he added.<br \/>\nDuring the meeting, Christodoulides and Descalzi discussed a shared fast-track approach that allowed the appraisal well to be drilled while evaluating multiple development scenarios.<br \/>\n\u201cHighlights of the preferred solutions to efficiently meet domestic as well as regional and European <strong>energy priorities in the short and longer period<\/strong> have been outlined.\u201d<br \/>\nEni has been present in Cyprus since 2013.
