Giorkin Project in Nicosia and Limassol
The Giorkin Project is a series of contemporary concerts on a mini Cyprus tour. It was created in 2023 by Marilia Andreou and Phaedra Mylona, two young Cypriot instrumentalists. The project returns for its second series with a new ensemble consisting of Enyalios Evangelou Papadopoulos, Sophia Price, and Nikola Janjic. They will be performing newly composed works by various Cypriot composers on January 8 in Nicosia and January 9 in Limassol. The project aims to bring a fresh note to the classical music scene in Cyprus by showcasing the work of upcoming Cypriot composers.
