Thematic Framework for Larnaca Biennale 2025: “Tracing Lines and Marks”

The Larnaca Biennale 2025, curated by Sana López Abellán, is themed “Tracing Lines and Marks” and will run from October 15 to November 28, 2025. It invites artists to explore the role of lines and marks in expressing the human experience. The submission period for artworks is from June 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025, through the Biennale’s website. A program of parallel events will also occur, with submissions for these events open from July 1 to October 31, 2024. The Cyprus Symphony Orchestra Foundation, in collaboration with Michalis Economou, will organize the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra International Conducting Masterclass and Competition from May 20 to 24. This event aims to provide a platform for ten young conductors from around the world to train under Michalis Economou and compete for an opportunity to conduct a concert with the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra in a future season. The final public concert will take place on May 24 at Strovolos Municipal Theatre.
