Police and nurse rescue baby found unconscious on the highway
Police and an off-duty nurse assisted in rescuing a baby found in distress with its parents on the side of the Larnaca-Nicosia highway. The incident occurred shortly after 3pm on Sunday. The 7-month-old infant, who was unconscious at the time, is now being treated at the Makarios Hospital and is in stable condition. The baby was initially transported to the Nicosia General Hospital by the police, accompanied by the nurse who provided first aid.
Driver suffers serious injuries in Paphos motocross
A 38-year-old motocross racer sustained serious leg injuries, including potential leg paralysis, after colliding with another racer who lost control and fell on the Argaka-Makounta track in Paphos. Man falls 80m, rescued by helicopter (video)
