President Nikos Christodoulides and EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Lebanon for a joint visit on the migration crisis. The main objective of the visit is to provide political and economic support to Lebanon from the EU, discuss challenges facing the country, and promote stability and prosperity through necessary reforms. The EU will present an Economic Support Package for Lebanon during the visit.
Health Minister Michael Damianos and Greek Deputy Health Minister Marios Themistocleous discussed upcoming collaborations in transplants between Cyprus and Greece through two agreements. The first agreement involves organ donation in Greece from deceased donors and lung transplants at the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Centre for Cypriot patients, while the second agreement addresses cases of incompatible pairs for kidney transplantation in Cyprus and Greece, facilitating kidney exchanges between the two countries.
President of Estonia, Alar Karis, visited Cyprus and was received by the President of the House, Annita Demetriou. They discussed open issues and potential cooperation between Estonia and Cyprus. Karis thanked Demetriou for the hospitality and expressed a desire for continued contacts.

Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos was received by Kazakhstan’s President Qasym-Jomart Toquayev during his official visit. They discussed Cyprus-Kazakhstan bilateral relations, EU-Kazakhstan relations, and regional and international developments. Kombos also met with his counterpart Murat Nurtleu in Astana to discuss bilateral ties and the Cyprus issue.
