A 24-year-old woman was remanded in custody for eight days after admitting to Larnaca airport police that she had swallowed packets of cocaine before traveling to Cyprus. During a search of her luggage, nothing objectionable was found, but an x-ray at Larnaca general hospital revealed that she was “carrying a number of foreign objects,” leading to her arrest.
